Job Description

Source and find the best local and foreign suppliers including traders or manufacturers.

Supplier sourcing, selection (bidding, negotiation, etc.), routine communication with suppliers and performance management, procurement contract preparation and negotiation, and procurement fulfillment monitoring.

Prepare periodic supplier’s evaluation.

Negotiate price/terms and conditions according to the target received by the direct supervisor/manager.

Monitor orders' process with suppliers, and prepare related documents for payment, shipment and delivery schedules, commercial registration procedures, customs affairs, transportation and transit of the cargo and the related arrangements.

Prepare and handle all necessary documentation from Proforma Invoice to shipping documents

Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations.

Prepare and submit the necessary purchase and logistic documents.

Supervise and control shipping of goods in all steps according to the schedule.

Create and keep archives updated according to department instructions.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Engineering

Good command of English (written and spoken).

Ability to read and interpret technical documents.

Familiar with commercial and international business terms and regulations.

Minimum 5 years of working experience as purchasing engineer (Preferably in Oil & Gas sector)

Good communication and negotiation skills.

Team work skills.

Microsoft Office proficiency.

Flexible with business travel.
